Internships

J.R. Butler is actively seeking qualified interns to join our team. We visit various college job fairs starting in late winter. Hiring is completed by mid April and the interns begin working at J.R. Butler when their summer breaks begin. The internship program lasts for three months. One third of their time is spent in the field, one third in the fabrication shop, and one third in the office. This gives the intern a complete overview how everything interrelates; they can’t participate in just one aspect and expect to understand all three. The interns will work side by side with our current employees to gain real world experience. The highly technical environment allows the intern to practice critical thinking and problem solving.
